In Q3 2022, the top food delivery apps in the Netherlands experienced diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of five key players: Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, Flink: Groceries in minutes, Thuisbezorgd.nl, Picnic Online Supermarket, and Lekkerder bij de Boer.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste showed an impressive increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.2K in late June and rising steadily to approximately 32.7K by the end of September. This growth was mirrored in its weekly active users, which increased from 155K to about 236K over the same period.

Flink: Groceries in minutes had a relatively stable quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating between 6.6K and 8.2K. Its weekly active users also remained steady, ranging from 66K to 69K throughout Q3.

Thuisbezorgd.nl experienced consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 6.9K and maintaining similar levels with minor fluctuations, closing the quarter at 6.9K. The app's weekly active users saw a slight increase, starting at 117K and peaking at 133K in July before stabilizing around 119K by the end of September.

Picnic Online Supermarket had a modest but steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.5K and ending at 7.2K. The weekly active users showed a consistent pattern, averaging around 66K throughout the quarter.

Lekkerder bij de Boer experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads in early July, reaching nearly 40K, before stabilizing to lower figures around 658 by the end of September.
